Although the design worked initially there are some improvements that can be made.

The bars holding down the bands flexed too much allowing the bands to slip through.

​

We made new bars to clamp the bands. They were machined to make them bend toward the bands.

​

The new clamps actually bend more because they were machined thinner. More improvements need to be made.

​

We 3D printed a locking mechanism to hold the device shut. We tested it separate from the device and it seems to hold securely.

​

We attached the locking mechanism and it locks well but it is hard to unlock.
